Not everyone who belongs here wants to join as a member. There are three structured ways to work with TWBB.

Approved Service Provider

Accountants, attorneys, insurance providers, and consultants who serve member firms through a structured referral relationship. You get a steady flow of construction clients, and members get vetted professionals they can trust.

Apply as a Provider

Project Owner or Developer

You have work to put out and want reliable, compliant, capable teams on it. This is the hiring path, and it runs through the project inquiry form rather than partnership.

Funder or Strategic Ally

Capital, grants, sponsorship, in-kind support, or strategic alignment. You care about economic development in BIPOC communities and want the infrastructure to exist.

The cooperative verifies credentials, insurance, and references before approval.

Service standards, rates for members, and referral terms are set in writing.

Referral flow

You are listed in the provider directory and referred to members who need your category.

The rule providers ask about most

  1. Approved providers serve member clients through the cooperative's referral structure.
  2. Soliciting member clients outside that structure is grounds for removal from the directory.
  3. The protection runs both ways, which is what makes members comfortable sharing their books with you.

Builders Avenue

TWBB is incubated and supported by Builders Avenue, a cooperative of shared business services building capacity for entrepreneurs and trade professionals.
